Kanyakumari, one of the notable tourist destinations in South India is placed on the southernmost tip of Indian subcontinent. The pretty town has got its name from the Hindu goddess “Devi Kanyakumari” or “Kumari Amman”. Located at about 86 km southeast of Thiruvananthapuram, Kanyakumari allows you to view the spectacular sunrise and sunset on the beach.
